Finance Upload/Download Utility

The Finance Upload/Download Utility introduces enhanced control over financial data downloads and secure integration with QuickBooks. It allows organizations to configure how account data appears in downloaded files by optionally displaying account numbers in place of descriptions when downloading Account data. Additionally, Class ID – based filtering enables downloads to be restricted to specific financial classifications, improving data relevance and reducing post-processing efforts. These options apply only to Account data types.

The utility also includes a QuickBooks Integration Configuration Manager for securely managing integration credentials and system paths. BatchMaster Web and QuickBooks connection details -such as user credentials, company context, server URL, SDK version, and QuickBooks company file path – are stored in an encrypted configuration file (QBFinanceUtility.exe.config). This centralized configuration supports secure authentication, reliable data exchange, and flexible deployment across environments without requiring application code changes.
